About the Opportunity Uniting Kids Care Early Learning Springwood has supported families for over 20 years, providing education and childcare with a preschool program open long hours for children aged two to five. The service is located near Buttenshaw Park on the grounds of the Springwood Uniting Church. Salary and Hours $33 – $36.58 per hour (depending on experience), plus RDO, super and salary packaging benefits. Full‑time permanent role. What you’ll be doing
- Develop positive relationships that support children, their families and the community.
- Facilitate play‑based learning environments responsive to children’s interests, strengths and abilities.
- Document children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes.
- Support the planning and implementation of engaging programs and curriculum experiences for children.
- Support children with diverse learning and developmental needs within an inclusive workplace.
- Work collaboratively within a highly experienced team and contribute positively to preschool culture. Qualifications and experience
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (completed); prior on‑the‑job experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in early childhood education.
- Experience with planning and programming for children.
- Sound knowledge of the NQS, EYLF and Child Safe Standards.
- Current First Aid and Child Protection qualifications.
- Passion for working with preschool‑aged children.
- Demonstrated ability to write learning stories and support curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work within a team and continue learning and developing professionally. What we offer
