About the Opportunity

Uniting Kids Care Early Learning Springwood has supported families for over 20 years, providing education and childcare with a preschool program open long hours for children aged two to five. The service is located near Buttenshaw Park on the grounds of the Springwood Uniting Church.

Salary and Hours

$33 – $36.58 per hour (depending on experience), plus RDO, super and salary packaging perks.

Full‑time permanent role.

What you’ll be doing

Develop positive relationships that support children, their families and the community.

Facilitate play‑based learning environments responsive to children’s interests, strengths and abilities.

Document children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes.

Support the planning and implementation of engaging programs and curriculum experiences for children.

Support children with diverse learning and developmental needs within an inclusive workplace.

Work collaboratively within a highly experienced team and contribute positively to preschool culture.

Qualifications and experience

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (completed); prior on‑the‑job experience preferred.

Minimum 2 years’ experience working in early childhood education.

Experience with planning and programming for children.

Sound knowledge of the NQS, EYLF and Child Safe Standards.

Current First Aid and Child Protection qualifications.

Passion for working with preschool‑aged children.

Demonstrated ability to write learning stories and support curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.

Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to work within a team and continue learning and developing professionally.
