Heidelberg Materials Australia are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and energetic leader to join the Concrete Operations team as a Concrete Plant Manager overseeing our Springwood and Lawson Concrete Plants.You will be joining a strong team culture where personal and professional growth is valued and your contributions towards our success recognised. Reporting to the Area Manager, the Concrete Plant Manager is a multi-faceted role responsible for the concrete operations overseeing the daily management, operational and financial activities.This is a great chance for those candidates around the Blue Mountains area and also those based Western Sydney (Penrith / Parramatta).In your new role, you will:Efficient day-to-day management of the operations in the area, including the preparation of and managing costs within an agreed budgetDevelop relationship with customers in assigned territory through sales visits, phone and e-mail contactsReview customer orders for the next day(s) to ensure service levels, plant capability, capacity, raw materials and staffing to achieve the orders and there is no overbooking of workBe conversant and always comply with the requirements of Heidelberg Materials policies and proceduresWork with the Sales Manager to ensure all quotations, contracts, credits and billing is completeEnsure fixed and mobile assets are maintained in accordance with service intervalsFollow all safety requirements and lead with safety as your priorityLead and develop the team and manage Internal team performanceRun and manage toolbox meetingsThis role is a great fit for you, if:You are familiar with the Springwood and Lawson.Have operations experience and leadership capabilitiesYou have experience with P&L; and month end reporting will be advantageousAre results focused, self-motivated and have a total commitment to risk managementYou have a passion for delivering remarkable customer service and great resultsYou are a team player who can multi-task and make quick effective decisions under pressureYou have the ability to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersYou are a natural problem solver and enjoy planningWhat we offer:You will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration package comprising of company vehicle and an incentive programCompany branded uniforms and PPE are suppliedBe part of highly recognised global brand name and growing organisationOngoing career and development opportunitiesAbout Heidelberg MaterialsWith more than 4,000 employees across 300 sites, we have an extensive production and logistics network across Australia.We think global and act local
