Operations Manager Blue Mountains

The Blue Mountains Women's Health and Resource Centre is well known and trusted, with robust demand and a committed team in place. At the same time, there is real scope to improve structure, consistency and how the service operates day to day.

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager who can bring clarity, organisation and practical leadership to the site.

What you’ll be doing:

This is a hands‑on role focused on keeping the centre running smoothly and supporting the team to deliver consistently high‑quality services.

You will:

Lead and support a multidisciplinary team across clinical, allied health and reception Bring structure to daily operations, workflows and responsibilities Manage rostering, leave and day‑to‑day staffing needs Improve processes and address inefficiencies in a practical way Support the team to meet service delivery expectations and targets Oversee reporting, compliance and data processes Coordinate site needs, including maintenance and contractors

You’ll work closely with the General Manager and be a key point of leadership on the ground.

What we’re looking for:

This role will suit someone who is practical and people‑focused.

You’ll bring:

5 years min experience in an Operations Manager or similar role A background in health, community services, or another service‑led workplace Confidence leading teams and managing performance day to day Strong organisational skills and the ability to bring structure where it’s needed A hands‑on approach and willingness to step in and support the team Sound judgement and a calm, solutions‑focused mindset

Desirable but not Essential


· Experience working in a women’s health sector

· Experience of Medicare and clinical practices

· An understanding or experience in clinical and medical practice accreditation and standards (eg Best Practice)
