To ensure success in the position and a strong return on this investment, we are seeking candidates who can commit to the role for a period of 12–24 months. Job Description What you will do As our Rides Team Leader at Scenic World, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction within our Rides department. This role is located at the stunning Scenic World site, nestled in the heart of nature in the Blue Mountains. Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead &motivate; theteamto deliver outstanding customer service.
- Oversee the daily operations of the Rides department, ensuring seamless coordination &execution.;
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Managing & creating a fortnightly roster for all Rides team members.
- Performance management of all Rides team members.
- Assist in the recruitment, training &development; of new team members to maintain high service standards.
- Handle guest enquiries &feedback; effectively, striving to resolve any issues promptly &professionally.;
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive &integrated; approach to guest satisfaction across the site. Desired Skills and Experience What you will bring
- Proven experience in a customer‑facing role within the hospitality or tourism industry
- Demonstrated leadership abilities &experience; in leading a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem‑solving skills &ability; to handle difficult situations effectively
- Sound knowledge of health &safety; regulations in a guest‑focused environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
