- **Kogan People Solutions**_ _are working with a very well regarded and successful building_ and construction company based in Werribee Vic, delivering residential developments, general commercial construction and restaurant and café fitouts across Melbourne and Geelong. The business began in 2009 and is well established with architects and with residential and commercial developers as a “go-to” construction company for high-quality, efficiently managed and well finished construction and fitout projects.

The firm wishes to appoint a skilled qualified Architectural Draftsman to work closely with their architectural team and clients.

**Reporting to company management including the construction project manager, responsibilities will include**:

- Project work, modelling detailing, preparation of project documentation suitable for relevant stakeholder requirements, i.e., Building Certification, Client approval, Production, Town Planning, Sub-division, and infrastructure authorities.
- Communicate with external stakeholders, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Obtain permits & approvals from the appropriate authorities within allocated timeframes.
- Project administration processes for submittals, design and construction models, drawings, and schedules
- Ensure designs and finished work comply with specifications, building codes/regulations and contract requirements.
- Ensure that all stakeholders are treated with respect with their queries or concerns
- Develop strong working relationships with our partners and clientele to greater influence your control over the projects.
- Develop a strong working relationship with key project contacts. E.g., Building Surveyor, Councils, Consultants, and clients.
- Well developed communications skills

**To be successfully considered for interview we expect to see**
- Industry relevant Diploma or agreed equivalent
- At least 2 to 3 years professional (post training) experience
- Demonstrated high standard time management skills
- Working knowledge of software solutions such as ArchiCAD
- Sound technical knowledge and understanding of the Building Code of Australia
- Unrestricted rights to work full time in Australia
