About The Role In this role you’ll join our thriving dangerous goods driving team and complete ISO Tank deliveries from the wharf to Melbourne metro customers and the rail network. You will take part in a comprehensive four‑week training program where you’ll learn to safely load and unload a variety of liquid products, deliver to customer sites, and operate equipment including ISO containers for import and export work. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced MC dangerous goods driver with wharf experience who can deliver high levels of driving competence and safety. You Will Bring
- Valid HC licence with minimum 12 months on‑road driving experience – mandatory
- Dangerous Goods licence – mandatory
- MSIC required – mandatory
- BFM (Basic Fatigue Management) accreditation – highly desirable
- RIW (Rail Industry Worker) card – highly desirable
- Clean driving history with no major infringements
- Punctual, reliable, responsible, and positive approach to your working day
- Ability to follow instructions and to communicate effectively
- Strong level of reading, speaking and writing English
- Flexible mindset and understanding that the transport industry constantly changes
