Our team works on a variety of worksites including local government, private residential and commercial work.

Work is in and around the western suburbs of Melbourne and at times beyond, and includes a wide range of arboricultural activities including tree pruning, shaping, removals, and stump grinding.

Applicants must possess a great personality, great work ethic, can-do attitude and the professionalism and ability to work within the residential environment as well as on council contracts and various large commercial sites.

**A typical day on our worksite includes**:

- Performing skilled pruning, trimming and shaping of trees to promote healthy growth and to maintain aesthetics to the Australian standard AS4373
- Perform tree removals and stump grinding
- Operate and maintain a variety of arboricultural equipment including chainsaws, chippers, loaders, stump grinders and EWP
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the wider team
- Ability to politely and courteously communicate with stakeholders and clients

**About you**:

- **MUST** have a drivers licence
- **MUST** have White card
- **MUST** be physically fit & healthy, and love the great outdoors as you will spend a lot of time outdoors whilst moving heavy branches and logs into the chipper
- Highly motivated, with a **positive attitude** & able to work as part of a team
- **MUST** be able to use a chainsaw
- **MUST** Confident around machinery and willing to undertake all roles including stump grinding
- MR licence highly desirable
- **Those who do not possess these requirements above need not apply_

**The following would be highly regarded**:

- High risk Elevated Work Platform (EWP) licence
- Current first aid level 2 certificate and CPR training
- Industry experience
- desired but not essential
- A strong work ethic, initiative, reliability, excellent people skills and physical fitness
- Well-developed mechanical aptitude and skills
- Ability to work within a team and independently
- ESI qualified (and current)
- Knowledge and appreciation of OH&S; practice.
