- Service, maintain, and repair overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment
- Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
- Attend reactive breakdowns and complete mechanical repairs on site
- Complete load rope, hook, sheave, wheel, and gearbox repairs or replacements
- Perform air hoist and pneumatic hoist repairs
- Assist with general hoist overhauls, including motor and gearbox rebuilds
- Support installation work on overhead cranes and hoists, depending on skill level
- Complete job cards, service reports, and required documentation
- Represent the business professionally on customer sites
- Work across a wide range of industrial environments, with no two jobs the same About you
- Mechanical trade background as a fitter, mechanic, maintenance fitter, or similar
- Experience in industrial maintenance, field service, or a related mechanical environment
- Good communication skills and professional presentation on site
- Current driver’s licence
