PTY LTD (Experienced Pastry Cook WANTED) We are seeking an experienced pastry cook with a strong background in pastry for our shop. The successful applicant must be committed to the pastry team on a daily basis. You must be a team player with a positive attitude and a sense of responsibility. Additionally, you should be willing to work both in a team environment and independently. Salary Range: $77,000
- $85,000 (plus superannuation) What we offer § Full-time role § Weekly roster § Great location § Fantastic work life balance § Great hourly rate based on your experience The Roles Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to § Create a variety of pastries, including cakes, pies, and bread and engage the interest of customers § Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting § Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget § Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking § Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently § Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel § Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards The position Requires The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success within a similar role or work workplace. § Have a right to work in Australia § Previous experience (at least 2 years) in a similar role with references § Must be fully available over a 7-day roster § Be able to work under pressure § Be a team player § Highly organized and efficient The candidate must also have strong communication skills, show attention to detail, and be well-presented and punctual.
