Quantity Surveyor & Cost Advisor Chinchilla

About This Role

On behalf of our client, a High-Profile Leading Oil & Gas Company, Brunel is presently sourcing a Quantity Surveyor & Cost Advisor to join a major Gathering Execution Team in a client-side, field-based advisory role. This will be a 12 month FIFO or BIBO contract, 19 days on / 9 days off roster, 10 hour days, located in remote Southern Queensland.

Will focus on in office commercial oversight, cost transparency, productivity monitoring and contractor performance across a large-scale gathering scope

Review contractor reports, timesheets and progress claims against observed site activities

Conduct field quantity measurements and verify installed works

Monitor productivity, labour/equipment utilisation and schedule performance

Identify cost, productivity and commercial risks

Support validation of claims, variations and contract compliance

Participate in site walks, progress meetings and stakeholder coordination

Provide reporting and fact-based insights to the Site Leadership Teams

Requirements

Extensive experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Control OR Project Controls

Oil & Gas, Pipeline or Heavy Infrastructure Project exposure

Experience with reimbursable, unit rate and lump sum contracts

Strong quantity measurement, reporting, and cost tracking capability

Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excel

Robust stakeholder engagement and communication skills
