Full-Time Horse Trainer – Copperpenny Park (Perth, WA) Copperpenny Park is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Horse Trainer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-established equestrian business in the Perth region, working within a dynamic and quick-paced environment. About the Role You will play a key role in the training and development of a wide range of horses, from young and unbroken horses through to competition and behavioural cases. This position requires someone confident working under pressure, with strong horsemanship skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and team members. Must Haves
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a horse trainer
- Relevant Australian or international equestrian/training qualifications
- Proven experience starting horses under saddle
- Good administration skills to provide updates
- High standard of horse presentation (clipping, plaiting, bathing, etc.)
- Solid stable management knowledge, including feeding, hygiene, and admin
- Knowledge of basic equine first aid and when to engage veterinary support
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Competitive horse riding would be well regarded What You Will Do
- Overseeing the daily care and welfare of multiple horses
- Designing and implementing training programs for a variety of horses, including young horses, ex-racehorses, and client competition horses
- Preparing and presenting horses for sale
- Producing and competing horses What We Offer
- Full-time position with flexible working hours
- Salary range from $75,000
- $85,000 depending on experience
