Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and hands-on Feedmill Manager to join our team based in Warra, QLD. Reporting to the GM Feed Supply Chain (based in Brisbane), this role is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the feedmill, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role – you’ll be out on site supporting your team, troubleshooting issues and driving performance, not sitting behind a desk. About the Role This opportunity is responsible for the below:
- Full oversight and control of feedmill operations
- Drive the development of plant process parameters and implement strategies to meet targets, record and analyse
- Coaching and developing a small team, building a strong safety and performance culture
- Planning feed production in line with end user requirements
- Maintaining quality standards in line with FeedSafe and internal QA systems
- Raw material inventory control with focus on zero stockouts
- Development and implementation of preventative maintenance and shutdown planning
- Investigate Capex opportunities which will positively impact feed mill operations
- Ensuring compliance with WHS, biosecurity and site requirements

- Experience in a feedmill, grain processing or similar manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership experience in a production setting
- Robust understanding of production planning, quality and site operations
- A hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and time management skills
