Diesel Motor Mechanic (Chinchilla)

Ison Haulage is a well-established general transport company based in Chinchilla, Queensland. We operate a diverse and contemporary fleet of trucks and trailers and are seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills, particularly with heavy vehicles. Key Responsibilities
· Perform scheduled servicing and maintenance on a fleet of heavy vehicles and trailers
· Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs efficiently
· Conduct engine, transmission, suspension, and brake system repairs
· Maintain accurate service and repair records
· Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and compliance standards
· Identify and report additional repair or maintenance requirements Skills and Experience
· Relevant trade qualification (e.g. Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
· At Least 3 years of relevant work experience as a diesel mechanic
· Experience working on Kenworth trucks is highly regarded
· Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Full-time position
· Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 per annum plus guaranteed overtime
