Our Condamine Feedlot is a contemporary 30,000 head facility located in the Western Darling Downs of Queensland, three hours from Toowoomba. About the Role We are looking for a Feed Person / Machinery Operatorto join our Feeding team at our Condamine Feedlot. As a Feed person / machinery operator, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Feedlot and maintain a high standard and timely delivery of commodities and feeding rations to cattle. Part of the job will also include:
· Perform prestart maintenance on machinery
· Operate a variety of machinery
· Adhere to the guidelines set in consultation with feedlot management for processors
· Operate Digital Scales within feed trucks to receive allocated loads and nominated pens in feedlot to feed out ration.
· Mix and deliver the ration to the allocated pens as per the computer.
· Ensure Mill maintenance is completed according to schedule
· Maintaining Mill area housekeeping You will be a multi-skilled individual who has a genuine willingness to learn and interest in mechanical equipment and has good attention to detail while enjoying a variety of tasks and challenges. - Ability to carry out manual maintenance tasks and operate machinery
- Problem-solving and computer skills
- Ability to follow safe work practices

- Commitment to ensuring animal welfare and husbandry standards are upheld
- Willingness to undertake required training and licensing, such as Boiler Operations, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, and Lock Out Tag Out
