Warehouse/forklift Operator (Northmead)

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Manufacturing and Warehouse Assistant to join our friendly and expanding team in Northmead NSW.

**The Role**: Reports to the Warehouse Manager the key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Pick and Pack orders with no or errors
- Book freight utilizing our internal systems
- Assist with manufacturing of custom products (height bars, ezy rail, stair nosing)
- Customer service during order collections
- Unpacking of containers
- Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits
- Constantly work to improve processes.
- Make suggestions for productivity improvements.
- Train and guide new warehouse workers when required.
- Identify errors and report it to the Manager
- Sustain the corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues
- Able to take work instructions from the managers on day todays work flow.
- Use various pneumatic and power tools.
- Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits
- Adhere to everyday housekeeping tasks, such as keeping the work space and facility clean and tidy.
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain a protected workspace and always adhere to the Company OH&S; requirements at all times

**To be successful in this role you will possess the following**:

- Forklift license is mandatory
- Hands-on experience in assembling
- Hand Tool Skills.
- A good team player, solution oriented and communicate well with others.
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to cope with the physical demands of the job.
- Great reliability and time management.
- Basic to medium Computer skills
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
- A strong Attention to detail and an OH&S; mindset.

**Nice to Have**
- Knowledge and experience working with safety products and advantage but not necessary.

Pay: $31.00
- $33.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
