College Chaplain – Primary & Secondary (Whyalla)

We’re looking for a caring and committed College Chaplain to support the spiritual, social and emotional wellbeing of students, including working with families and their teachers. Working from a Christian framework, you’ll help build a positive culture and workplace for children of various ages and help them engage in their education. This in a part time position, approximately 4 days a week (negotiable) during school term time (41 weeks + 4 weeks annual leave) for start in Term 3 (20 July 2026). In this role, you will:
- Provide day‑to‑day pastoral and spiritual support
- Assist during critical incidents and contribute to wellbeing programs
- Facilitate mentoring, voluntary groups and personal development activities
- Build strong relationships across the College community
- Participate in College events, camps and extra‑curricular activities About you:
- A strong personal Christian faith and the ability to communicate it respectfully
- Experience working with young people and an understanding of pastoral care
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Compassion, emotional intelligence and professionalism
