- Ongoing training & upskilling What your day looks like Reporting to the Supervisor, you’ll be part of a tight-knit crew maintaining vegetation around powerlines using specialised equipment. You’ll rotate across a variety of hands-on tasks, including:
- Operating a variety of machinery including hedgers, EWP and tractors
- Performing pre-starts and maintenance checks
- Setting up protected drop zones and exclusion zones
- Supporting with chainsaw operation and ground crew tasks
- Acting as a safety observer
- Conducting risk assessments on-site You’ll typically travel up to an hour to job sites, with opportunities to work away from home. What we’re looking for You’re someone who enjoys physical, outdoor work, takes safety seriously, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to the team. Essential:
- Current driver’s licence
- Strong commitment to safety
- Willingness to work away from home when required Nice to have (but not essential):
- White Card
- First Aid / CPR
- MR/HR Truck Licence (highly regarded)
- Chainsaw qualifications (Level 1 & 2) (highly regarded)
