With 50+ stores nationally and a growing international footprint, we're in an exciting phase of expansion. We're looking for a talented Store Designer to help shape the next chapter. This is an opportunity to shape how customers experience the KOOKAÏ brand through thoughtfully designed retail spaces. From new store concepts to strategic refits, your work will have a visible impact across our growing network. THE ROLE This is a hands‑on, end‑to‑end design role. You'll be involved from the very first sketch through to final sign‑off
- conceptualising current store environments, producing detailed construction documentation, and project managing fit‑outs and refits from brief to delivery. You'll work closely with our Head of Store Design and Managing Director, and a wide network of internal teams, shopfitters, and suppliers
- bringing both creative thinking and precise execution to every project. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and evolve the KOOKAÏ store design concept through collaboration and stakeholder engagement
- Produce concept plans, 3D perspectives, and full construction documentation in AutoCAD
- Project manage fit‑outs and refits from initial brief to defects sign‑off
- Coordinate with shopfitters, contractors, landlords, and internal teams
- Stay across retail design trends, consumer psychology, and new materials WHAT YOU BRING
- Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- 2+ years' experience in retail or commercial fit‑out design
- Proficient in AutoCAD (essential) and Revit (preferred)
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite — Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Strong project management skills across multiple live projects
- A genuine passion for retail environments and brand storytelling through space
- Proactive and solutions‑focused calm under pressure, always finds a way
