About The Project The Tram to Springvale Alliance (TSA), made up of BMD Constructions, CPB Contractors and Arup, is delivering the Eastern Freeway Upgrades between Tram and Springvale roads. The works include new express lanes, upgraded noise walls, and revitalised areas of the Koonung Creek Linear Park. The project is being delivered under an Alliance Contract with Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA), forming a single collaborative team. As part of the North East Link Program (NELP), the upgrade will improve safety and efficiency for over 135,000 daily vehicles, remove 15,000 trucks from local roads, and reduce traffic across the Yarra River by 50,000 vehicles per day. About The Role We’re seeking experienced and motivated Project Engineers to play a key role in delivering complex, multi-disciplinary construction packages. You will have exposure across one or more of the following scope of works:
- Bulk and detailed earthworks
- Drainage and utilities
- Pavements, asphalt and haulage operations
- Structures, bridges and FRP
- Retaining walls and soil nail walls
- Micro-tunnelling and trenchless solutions Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Site Engineers, Graduates and/or Undergrads across civil packages
- Manage project planning, programming, and cost control
- Oversee procurement, subcontractor coordination, and contract administration
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Build solid relationships with alliance partners, clients, and stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement and innovation across project delivery About You
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer within civil infrastructure projects
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or alliance projects is highly regarded
- Solid understanding of contracts, commercial management and cost control
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
