Site Manager, Logistics Williamstown

Job Summary Dematic is seeking an experienced Site Manager, Logistics to join our Project Delivery team in Melbourne on an $500 million project in Tarneit. This 18‑month fixed‑term contract (extendable) will involve planning and coordinating logistics movements, lifting and material flow, as well as supporting broader site installation tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all crane and lifting operations on site.
- Plan and coordinate delivery, unloading, lifting, storage and distribution of materials with Project Managers.
- Ensure lifting equipment is certified (chains, slings, shackles, beams, spreaders, etc.).
- Promote a robust safety culture on site.
- Coordinate activities across principal contractor teams.
- Work with Planning and Project Controls to sequence works.
- Maintain clear communication between site teams.
- Ensure works meet project quality requirements. Required Experience & Skills
- Previous experience on site with crane and lifting operations.
- Experience approving and monitoring lift plans.
- Knowledge of WHS legislation.
- Material handling project experience (ideally).
- Communication and reporting skills.
