We’re on the hunt for a trade-qualified Field Service Diesel Technician – someone ready to roll up their sleeves, hit the road, and get hands‑on with some of the toughest machinery on earth. You won’t just be turning spanners, you’ll be the front line of support for our customers. From diagnostics to major repairs, you’ll bring CAT equipment back to life, wherever the job takes you – on site, in the paddock, or out in the bush. About the Role
- Onsite technical troubleshooting and fault finding including diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on Cat equipment and their components; hydraulics, transmissions and engines.
- Providing outstanding customer service to our loyal customers.
- Compiling and completing accurate reporting.
- Working autonomously to manage your time and maximise efficiency.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Liaising with our internal service and parts department.
- Maintaining a William Adams service vehicle. About You
- Qualified Diesel Technician with experience on Caterpillar machines (preferred).
- 2 years of experience working in a Field Service role (preferred).
- Have advanced mechanical diagnostic skills with Cat computer diagnostics knowledge (great to have).
- A proactive and positive attitude, with robust work ethic.
- A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures.
- Hold a current Drivers Licence.
