We currently have an opportunity for a proactive and detail oriented Finance Administrator to join our team based in Wodonga, Vic. The successful candidate will provide essential finance administrative and operational support to the Asphalt & Products operational line of businesses, including project support, financial processing, contracts administration, inventory and manufacturing documentation, and accounts receivable activities. You will ensure timely, accurate data entry and help maintain compliance with Downer's policies and procedures. Key Tasks
- Accurately input financial and operational data into the ERP system, including invoicing, procurement, inventory, and month‑end activities.
- Process transactions correctly, manage accounts payable, and ensure job costing data is entered and maintained accurately.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing, cost allocation, purchase orders, and supplier/subcontractor payments.
- Support office operations, coordinate meetings, manage travel and accommodation, cover reception and oversee staff onboarding/offboarding.
- Deliver data integrity, support financial performance reviews, and meet month‑end deadlines. About You
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance administration role.
- Experience with a large Enterprise Resource Planning software such as SAP or JDE preferred.
- Proficient in core administrative competencies including spreadsheeting and document writing/formatting (intermediate use of Microsoft Office 365 applications).
- High level of accuracy in data entry and document preparation. Thoroughness in completing tasks and following up as required.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, building strong relationships at all levels.
