Ventia is on the lookout for passionate Chef de Parties to join our team in a full‑time permanent role at our Defence base in Albury Wodonga Military Area. In this position, you’ll have the unique chance to cook for the Australian Defence community, preparing fresh, high‑quality meals across breakfast, lunch, and dinner messes. - Full‑Time Opportunity | $33.33 – $37.14 per hour (inclusive of allowances)
- Join Ventia’s dedicated team supporting Defence personnel at our Bandiana site as a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie
- Sharpen your culinary skills under the guidance of a highly experienced Sous & Head Chef
- Gain hands‑on experience in a high‑volume kitchen environment whilst developing & mastering recent recipes
- Uniform/PPE provided What you’ll do
- Prepare and serve meals for Defence personnel
- Help with catering for events and functions
- Work closely with our skilled Head Chef and develop your skills
- Keep the kitchen clean and safe
- Work with a great team and support junior staff
- Follow food safety standards What you need
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or higher)
- Australian Driver’s Licence
- Experience in a busy kitchen
