Surveyor - Mine (Wollongong)

About the Role We are currently seeking an Underground Mine Surveyor to join our team at our Narrabri Underground Operations. Reporting to our Registered Mine Surveyor, this is a hands-on, operational role that supports secure and efficient underground mining through accurate survey control and data management. You’ll be stepping into a role with a well-established technical group. What You’ll Do
• Conduct underground survey pickups, mark-ups, and other routine survey activities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate mine plans in accordance with operational needs and site standards.
• Deliver survey data and design files for use in machine guidance systems and technical planning.
• Ensure survey data is stored and managed in accordance with site procedures and applicable legislative requirements.
• Maintain and calibrate survey instruments and software systems.
• Work closely with other technical services personnel to support daily production and development activities. What You’ll Bring
• Experience in underground coal mine surveying

• Tertiary qualification in surveying or equivalent.
• Willingness to work towards registration as part of your career development (desirable)
• Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD & Civil 3D.
• Experience using Trimble survey instruments, GPS, and total stations. Why Whitehaven Coal?
