Medical Receptionist (Wollongong)

- The Cardiac Centre NSW, on a permanent full-time basis. As the Medical Receptionist you are responsible for providing friendly administrative support to our staff and clinicians, booking and rescheduling testing, liaising with hospital staff and Doctors. **What you’ll do**:

- Work efficiently in a fast-paced administrative role where patient care is our focus
- Act as the first point of contact to patients, greeting them on arrival and accurately processing relevant paperwork
- Adapt to and manage an workplace where there is ongoing change and competing priorities
- Manage a large volume of telephone enquiries
- Billing and receipting of patient accounts
- Document scanning and reconciling daily banking
- Booking and rescheduling patient appointments for testing and consulting.

**Who you are**:

- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service, ideally in a medical/healthcare environment
- Robust organisational and communication skills, with the ability to efficiently work as a proactive member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience in billing/receipting medical accounts, Medicare and DVA billing
- Exceptional phone manner and ability to handle a high volume of patient enquiries
- High attention to detail and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
