The Opportunity As a Project Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of civil construction projects through the coordination of engineering, planning, procurement, scheduling, quality, and site activities. Working closely with the Project Manager and site teams, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. - Deliver civil construction projects on-site to a high standard
- Work collaboratively with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to achieve successful project outcomes
- Monitor project progress, budgets, forecasting, and quality to ensure targets are achieved
- Coordinate engineering activities including planning, procurement, scheduling, inspections, and quality control
- Provide guidance and support to site staff where required
- Ensure compliance with all WHS, environmental, and quality standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Manage engineering tasks independently and contribute to project planning and delivery Your Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- 2–3 years’ experience as a Site Engineer within civil construction
- Experience with project forecasting, budgeting, and cost control
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to work collaboratively within project teams
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A reliable and proactive approach with a commitment to achieving deadlines
