The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our team. Reporting to the Practice Manager, this role plays a key part in providing exceptional care and service to our patients.

This is a permanent part time position, working between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities and Duties: Receive patients, referrals, and inquiries in person or via telephone and electronic communication, responding kindly and promptly. Answer phone calls and emails, and manage appointment scheduling and bookings. Handle bookings, referrals, billing, and other inquiries accurately and professionally. Process payments and generate invoices as required. Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accurate data entry. Keep the reception area organised, clean, and welcoming. Ensure high standards of customer service, patient care, and workplace safety. Demonstrate solid attention to detail, the ability to multitask effectively, and maintain strict confidentiality while managing multiple responsibilities. Assists in marketing and promoting the practice to various GP and specialist clinics.

Pay: $30.00 – $34.00 per hour
