An opportunity has presented itself for a Terminal Operator to join our team in Adelaide Freight Terminal in Regency Park. What You’ll Do Reporting to the Terminal Supervisor, you will:
- Support container loading and unloading using a reach stacker
- Safely perform shunting duties within the terminal
- Marshal locomotives and rail wagons in preparation for departure
- Provide safety-critical communications to incoming and outgoing rail services
- Contribute to the safe and efficient movement of freight across the PN network
- Work a 24/7 forward-rotating roster (38 hours per week on average) What You’ll Bring To be successful, you will be an adaptable team player who thinks ahead, enjoys a challenge, and takes pride in safe, accountable work. You will also have:
- Current C class driver’s licence
- General computer proficiency
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience in heavy industry, logistics or transport (advantageous)
