Facility Supervisor (Woolgoolga)

Our client, SODHI FAMILY TRUST, operating as SODHI FARMS, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facility Supervisor to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of their farm facilities. This role is critical in ensuring that all infrastructure, equipment, and working environments are safe, compliant, and operating efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility or farm/site management, along with excellent organisational and leadership skills. Key responsibilities include coordinating maintenance schedules, managing contractors, overseeing farm infrastructure, and ensuring strict adherence to workplace health and safety and biosecurity standards. Key Responsibility
- Ensure correct handling of product/fruit to meet customer requirements, including grading, packing, cool chain management, hygiene, and despatch. Duties
- Oversee daily facility and farm operations to support productive blueberries production and meet operational targets.
- Supervise staff, allocate daily tasks, and ensure team performance aligns with workplace procedures and standards.
- Coordinate and monitor maintenance of farm infrastructure and equipment to minimise downtime and maintain productivity.
- Ensure workplace health and safety compliance, including safe work practices, inductions and ongoing safety oversight.
- Monitor blueberries handling and production processes to maintain quality standards and meet customer/market requirements.
- Support implementation of standard operating procedures and ensure staff are trained and following them correctly.
- Liaise with relevant supervisors/managers to coordinate workflow, resolve issues, and maintain smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate operational and QA-related records (where required) to support traceability and compliance.
- Ensure correct management of waste and hygiene practices in line with farm procedures and regulatory requirements. Qualification:
