Logging Ground Crew We are seeking motivated and reliable Logging Ground Crew members to join our team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced export environment where safety, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential. About SEQH SEQH is a Queensland-based full logistics service provider, specialising in export logistics and the handling, storage, and shipment of logs and bulk commodities. We support end-to-end supply chain operations with efficient, reliable, and safety-focused services. We operate multiple depots, and this position is based at our Hemmant, Brisbane depot. Position Details
- Start: ASAP
- Employment type: Full-time casual
- Pay rate: $36.31 – $37.00 per hour
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Work environment: Outdoor role, working in all weather conditions in a log yard environment Position Objective To support daily log yard operations by assisting with log handling, container preparation, and ensuring the daily packing plan is completed safely and efficiently. Key Accountabilities
- Assist with handling and moving logs in the yard
- Record container details including container number, seal, tare weight, and log species
- Take photographs of logs and email accurate information to administration
- Wash logs in preparation for packing
- Pack containers ensuring correct logs are loaded
- Follow all WH&S; procedures and work safely at all times
- Assist in maintaining the Registered Export Establishment, including yard maintenance and other general duties as required
- Liaise with the Log Export Manager to resolve operational issues within the log yard Basic Job Requirements
- No previous experience required
- Ability to work safely and follow log yard safety procedures
- Comfortable working outdoors in a physically demanding role handling logs
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure
- Robust teamwork skills and willingness to contribute to a positive work environment Work Health & Safety (WHS) Responsibilities All employees are required to:
