About the role As the Purchasing & Fulfillment Coordinator at FS Equipment, you'll play a vital role in the smooth and efficient operation of our parts and equipment sales business. In this full-time position, based in Hemmant, you will be responsible for coordinating the timely flow of critical parts and components from our suppliers across the world to our customers across Australia. What you'll be doing
- Inventory Management
- Maintain our physical inventory, keep accurate inventory records using Cin7 Core (formerly Dear Systems) and optimise stock levels to meet demand
- Parts Interpreting
- Understand customer needs, identify correct parts, and provide advice on range, pricing, and availability
- Sales Fulfilment
- Process customer orders, coordinate logistics, and ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment
- Procurement and Purchasing
- Take on the procurement and purchasing of parts & consumables needed to fulfil customer orders and internal needs
- Ecommerce Content Management
- Deliver maximum client visibility of our shop catalogue by utilising our CMS to maintain currency and accuracy of product data
- Continuous Improvement
- Assist in the development and implementation of improved parts management, fulfilment, and inventory control processes
- Team Support
- Develop a strong understanding of key business functions and responsibilities to provide flexible support across the team as operational needs require.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients, whether in person, on phone or online What we're looking for
- Experience in (any or all) parts coordination/interpreting, procurement, fulfilment and ecommerce, preferably within the transport, marine, power generation or mining industries
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in parts coordination, procurement, or fulfilment is required for this position
- Knowledge of diesel engines and parts, particularly Cummins, would be extremely advantageous
- Proficiency with inventory management software and general office software systems
- Experience with Cin7 Core (formerly Dear Systems) is preferred, however training will be provided to suitable candidates
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise internally and externally
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for process improvement
- Preparedness for physical elements of the role, including load carrying, a split level work environment and industrial noise
