Warehouse Customer Service & Operations (Hemmant)

COSCO Shipping Goldlead Supply Chain Development (formerly Ocean & Air Cargo Services) operates a 3PL warehouse in Hemmant, QLD 4174. We are a subsidiary of one of the largest shipping line providers in the world. This role is a full time position with super, annual leave & sick leave loading. It is an office based role, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm, however hours may vary. Business/logistics graduates are welcome to apply. Complete on the job training will be provided. About the role Within your role, you will be involved with warehouse customer orders and administration tasks in a warehousing operation. We are looking for someone that has the right attitude, is the right “fit” and is willing to learn new skills and grow with the company. You must have strong customer service focus along with excellent communication skills and be able to work in an organized and efficient manner. These roles will involve multiple tasks including but not limited to:
- Customer point of contact (emails, phone calls)
- Transport quotations, calculating pallet dimensions and choosing appropriate truck sizes
- Data entry for inbound and outbound warehousing activities
- General administrative duties (copying, scanning, filing, binding)
- Order processing and labelling
- Organizing transport bookings and manifesting
- Following up with transport on deliveries and ETA's
- Liaising on a daily basis with customers, floor staff, transport companies and drivers What we are looking for: Essential:
- Warehouse Admin experience
- Customer service skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Valuable ability to work with numbers
- Ability to work in a small team environment, learn, take directions and be adaptable to changing processes
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook) Desirable:
- Computer literate (Cargowise and CartonCloud software would be a bonus)
