Your New Opportunity ResourceCo is seeking a driven and energetic Internal Sales Representative to join our growing Soil Reuse & Recycling business. This is a fast-paced sales role focused on generating new business opportunities through high-volume outbound calling, field canvassing and customer engagement. You’ll play a key role in driving growth by identifying opportunities, engaging prospective customers and supporting our Business Development team across major civil, infrastructure and recycling projects. The role combines phone-based lead generation with proactive field engagement, including cold site visits and canvassing construction and infrastructure projects to identify opportunities directly from the market. We’re looking for someone who is equally comfortable making outbound calls as they are walking onto sites, introducing themselves and building relationships face-to-face. You’ll also have the prospect to build and manage your own portfolio of small to medium customers while assisting Business Development Managers in progressing larger strategic opportunities. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Conducting high-volume outbound cold calls to generate new business opportunities
- Conducting cold site visits and field canvassing activities to identify prospective customers and project opportunities
- Generating qualified leads and arranging meetings for Business Development Managers
- Building and managing a portfolio of small to medium customers
- Engaging prospective customers across civil, infrastructure, waste and construction sectors
- Re-engaging dormant customers and identifying new trading opportunities
- Maintaining strong sales activity levels and pipeline generation
- Recording customer interactions and opportunities within CRM systems About You We’re searching for a highly motivated and confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. You’ll be someone who is:
- Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls daily
- Confident conducting cold site visits and face-to-face customer engagement
- Quick-thinking and confident in conversation
- Able to build rapport naturally with customers
- Driven, resilient and commercially minded
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
- Interested in building a long-term career in sales and business development Previous experience in outbound sales, internal sales, lead generation or telesales roles will be highly regarded. Experience within transport, recycling, construction, waste or industrial sectors is advantageous but not essential.
