We are looking to welcome a Diverse Learning Administration Officer to join our team. As our Diverse Learning Administration Officer you will work collaboratively with our Head of Diverse Learning to provide administration, team coordination, and operational support functions for the Diverse Learning department. About the Role:
- Streamline and document processes such as Student Learning Plan (SLP) workflows, mail merges, data procedures, exam preparation, provision tracking, and communication systems
- Ensure currency of SLPs, and adjustments in TASS, TASS Web, Sharepoint and the Master spreadsheet
- Coordinate SLP review cycles, including scheduling student meetings, entering student e-diary reminders, and updating provisions
- Cross check year level lists across databases to ensure that students records are accurate
- Prepare summaries, reports, and organised records for internal use (e.g. moderation)
- Manage digital filing for SLPs, AARA documentation, meeting notes, and other required records
- Coordinate exam preparation processes with teachers, Heads of Faculty, and the Diverse Learning Team.
- Schedule the support of individual exams, in collaboration with Heads of Faculty and Diverse Learning Team
- Prepare meeting agendas, circulate updates, record outcomes, and follow up on actions
- Support the Head of Diverse Learning with calendar management, meeting organisation, and ongoing coordination
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, workflows, and practice
- Provide targeted support to students with additional learning needs
- Assist students with learning activities, small-group work, and one-on-one support on an occasional, ad hoc basis About You:
You bring enthusiasm, professionalism and a proactive approach with:
- Previous experience in a school setting, ideally with diverse learners (desirable)
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to with the ability to prioritise and support multiple classroom and administrative tasks
- Ability to lead calmly and efficiently during high-paced periods, such as exam blocks
- Familiarity with learning plans and reporting systems, such as NCCD (desirable)
- Experience with student-related administrative tasks
- Proficiency in the use of information and communication technologies
- Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
- Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, parents and our Iona College community
- Exemplary professional conduct
