Role Description The Purchasing & Fulfillment Coordinator is a full-time, in office role based in Hemmant, QLD. This role is responsible for coordinating purchase orders for OEM and aftermarket parts, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring timely procurement to support workshop and customer requirements. The coordinator manages inventory levels, oversees stock replenishment, and works with warehouse staff to track incoming and outgoing goods. Daily tasks include checking order accuracy, updating ERP or inventory systems, reconciling delivery documentation, and resolving discrepancies with suppliers and logistics partners. The role also involves responding to internal and external order queries, prioritizing urgent requirements to minimize downtime, and supporting continuous improvement in purchasing and fulfillment processes. Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to liaise effectively with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams.
- Solid Analytical Skills and Inventory Management experience to manage stock levels, review usage patterns, and optimize purchasing decisions.
- Excellent Organization Skills to handle multiple purchase orders, deadlines, and documentation with high attention to detail.
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination, ideally in automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial parts environments.
- Proficiency with inventory or ERP systems and standard office software (e.g., Excel, email, and reporting tools).
- Ability to work on-site in Hemmant, QLD, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Relevant vocational qualification or certification in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or a related field is advantageous.
