Care Worker Beachside Yanchep

We are currently seeking experienced Care Workers to join the team providing support services at Bethanie Beachside Aged Care Home located in Yanchep.

This role will be offered on a casual basis, and you will be required to be flexible in your availability, as we have a variety of shifts available across Monday to Sunday.

You will support our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day-to-day activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing is maintained while building positive and qualified relationships with residents and team members.

Our Care Workers are an integral part of the care and support we provide to our residents. Applicants with at least twelve months experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.

The Role

Assess care plans and ensure residents’ needs are met

Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe manner

Deliver personal care tasks (including toileting and showering) with dignity and respect

Ensure residents’ rooms and the facility environment is maintained to an appropriate standard

About You

Previous experience working in an aged care or hospital environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work well as a team and also independently

Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of the Bethanie Group

Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one)
