- Full Time FTE: 1.0 Location: Eglinton Closing Date: 2026-06-10 4:30 PM This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026. Eglinton Beach Primary School opened its doors to the local community of Eglinton in February 2025. It is the first school to open in the suburb of Eglinton and is an inclusive school catering for children from Kindergarten to Year Six with an integrated Education Support program for up to 50 children. The school caters for the growing community in the Northern Coastal Suburb and focuses on providing a welcoming, caring environment where each child's individual needs are catered for. The Role The Cleaner in Charge is responsible for inducting, training, leading, and managing cleaning staff including relief staff; monitoring and ordering stock supplies within your budget; maintenance and stocktake of cleaning equipment; undertaking cleaning of allocated internal and external areas; opening and locking the school, including setting the security alarm system and conducting daily hand over with the Manager Corporate Services. The successful applicant will ideally have good attention to detail and be able to work well with others to ensure a clean and safe school setting. You would ideally be organised, reliable and punctual and have the ability to work well both individually and as part of a team, ideally you should possess excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices.
