- Full-Time | Ongoing contract of employment. Immediate commencement available.
- $59,246 per annum pro rata + 12% superannuation. Reasonable overtime will be offered which can be taken as 25% loading equating to $14,311 p.a. by agreement.
- Located at our Eildon Campus.
Holmesglen at Eildon is a 660-acre, 4-star campus offering modern accommodation, specialised training spaces, and a wide range of outdoor activities. It’s a unique environment supporting student camps, retreats, and corporate events, with ensuite rooms, seasonal dining, a 20m pool, sports courts, and outdoor adventure activities
- all set in a sustainable, scenic location. We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our kitchen team. This role suits someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys working with fresh seasonal produce, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality meals. Free onsite accommodation will be provided for the successful candidate only, for up to six months to support relocation. This is temporary accommodation, and the successful candidate will be required to secure their own permanent housing as soon as possible. This position suits candidates based in Murrindindi or those considering relocation. The role operates across a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends. Applicants must hold current and valid Australian working rights and a valid driver’s licence. As a Chef, you will:
- Prepare, cook and plate high-quality seasonal meals for both corporate and student groups.
- Manage prep, service, cleaning and stock control to support smooth, efficient kitchen operations, minimise waste, and contribute to seasonal menu development.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and sustainability standards in line with regulatory requirements. To be successful, you’ll have:
- Full drivers licence and has their own vehicle.
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent apprenticeship) with current food safety and hygiene certifications.
- Sound culinary knowledge and understanding of kitchen operations, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Current and valid Australian working rights and driver’s licence, with availability to work across a flexible roster including evenings and weekends.
- WWCC and Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
