Optical Assistant - Yarra Junction Optical

**ABOUT US**

Yarra Junction Optical has been providing premium eye care at an affordable cost to the Yarra Valley since 1990. We are renowned in the community for providing excellent eye care and customer service.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

You will be involved in all aspects of the customer journey from
- Making appointments
- Greeting patients
- Assisting patients with frame and lens selections
- Provide genuine care for our customers by identifying their needs and offering exceptional services to ensure their satisfaction
- Supporting our team and representing our culture, beliefs and values.

While experience is preferred, we offer in-house training to equip you with the essential skills for dispensing optical products.

Must be able to work Saturday mornings
- 9am-1pm + occasional weekdays as needed.

**ABOUT YOU**

Be self motivated, with solid interpersonal skills to build rapport with our customers.

**Experience**
- Providing exceptional customer service at every interaction
- Attention to detail
- Computer literate
- Ability to recommend products, and close the sale
- Excellent written, verbal communication and active listening skills
- Positive attitude and ability to build relationships
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
