Care Fast is seeking a compassionate, outgoing and reliable female support worker to provide support to one of its participants who requires in-home support in Parkville area. Our participant is sociable and has a great personality and would like the same traits in her support worker. The participant will be staying at Carefast STA accommodation in Parkville and requires support with meal preparation and daily living tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with daily activities such as assisting with meal preparation and cooking
- General house duties
- Provide companionship and emotional support to the participant
- Accompany the participant to appointments and social outings
- Assisting participant with over the phone medical appointments
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for the participant
- Complete daily shift notes accurately and in a timely manner

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
- Experience working with people with disabilities and mobility support equipment
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with the participant and Care Fast housing manager

**Working Hours**: The support worker will workday time morning and early evening shifts 7 days a week. Care Fast has two accessible living properties in the building so there will an ongoing regular shift requirement.

**Salary**: $32.00
- $35.00 per hour
