The Albatross Health Centre is located at Nowra on the South Coast of NSW, approximately 2.5 hours from Sydney CBD. HMAS Albatross is the largest operational naval establishment in Australia and the Navy’s only air station. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, dental, mental health, physiotherapy, nursing and pharmaceutical services to up to 1,500 ADF members. Standard hours of operation are generally 0730–1530 Monday‑Friday, with medical officers on‑call for aviation retrievals.

What You’ll Do

Deliver high‑quality primary care to Defence members

Work in an Occupational Medicine workplace, conducting fitness‑for‑duty assessments and pre/post‑deployment care, in addition to injury management, chronic disease management and preventative health

Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical setting where patient wellness is paramount

What You Bring

Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner

FRACGP, FACRRM or vocational registration

Minimum two years’ GP experience in the last five years in a General Practice setting

Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)

Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)

Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient‑centred care
