Our Price Operations in South Australia are currently seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join our dynamic Maintenance team. Price is situated on St. Vincent’s Gulf approximately 140 kilometres Northwest of Adelaide. - Uniforms provided All Hand Tools & Relevant training will be provided. The Role The purpose of this role is to maintain, service and modify plant equipment and work toward breakdown prevention and general improvements. Reporting to the Maintenance coordinator your duties will include:
- Maintain, service & modify plant as requested by the Maintenance Team Leader
- Fault finding and problem solving
- Reporting items of plant maintenance related work
- Perform Fitting & Turning, Mechanical, Basic Welding work within skills and competencies
- Requisition supplies required to perform the above
- Estimate work as requested by the Maintenance Coordinator
- When available attend call backs as required
- Participate in paid weekend Stand‑by Roster
- Work toward breakdown prevention and general improvements
- Work on capital projects as required About You
- Relevant trade qualifications
- A quick learner, willing to listen and learn from experience of others
- A team player, trustworthy and has good work ethic
- Solid ongoing commitment to workplace health & safety
- Current Drivers & Forklift Licenses
- Confined Space, Working at Heights, EWP & Dogging tickets would be advantageous
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Physically fit and willing to undertake pre‑employment medical testing including drug & alcohol testing
