Our Price Operations in South Australia are currently seeking a Retail Operator to join our dynamic Retail team. Price is situated on St. Vincent's Gulf approximately 140 kilometers Northwest of Adelaide. - Uniforms provided The Role The purpose of the Retail Position is primarily to provide packing and lumping duties and machine operation whilst also perform quality and safety checks as necessary. Reporting to the Retail Leading Hand, you will perform all duties over a 4 on 3 off 48 hour week roster spanned between Monday to Friday rotating between 12 hour day shift and 12 hour night shifts. You will be responsible for Packing and Lumping of retail product (household use salt) and operating packaging machinery. This position will be responsible for:
- Collection and recording of production statistics
- Perform quality checks
- Forklift operation in a warehouse workplace
- Abide by and follow the company’s HSEQ Policies and Procedures
- Performing and recording quality checks in line with our HACCP plan About You To be considered for the role you must have:
- Completed Year 10 or higher
- High Risk Forklift Licence – preferable
- Good organisation skills
- Solid attention to detail
- Basic computer skills in Excel
- Ability to work to tight timeframes
- Good interpersonal/communication skills
- Strong Teamwork and self-starting
- Be physically fit and willing to undertake pre-employment medical testing including Drug and Alcohol testing
