The Role

The continued expansion of our manufacturing operations has required the growth of our existing dispatch team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Receiving and storage of metal deliveries for laser cutting and fabrication;

Quality checking of parts, ticking off orders;

Making sure all parts are cut, stacked and securely pack, and counts are correct;

Scanning of jobs in our computer system;

Ensuring all necessary paperwork and record keeping is done neatly, legibly and in a timely manner;

Communication with customers attending site for pickups;

Liaison with courier companies;

Keeping workspace clean and tidy;

About You

Previous experience in dispatch in an industrial manufacturing setting preferred;

Current Forklift licence;

Have a focus on secure work practices;

Show attention to detail in the work performed;

Be physically fit

Have an excellent work ethic, being punctual and hard working with a positive attendance record;

Problem solving mindset;

Basic computer skills;

Permanent residency or Australian citizenship status.

Salary: $25.00
- $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift
