The Mechanical Fitter will undertake a variety of manufacturing duties, including but not limited to:

- Carry out routine, preventative, and breakdown maintenance on glass manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations.
- Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs on mechanical systems including conveyors, cutting lines, furnaces, and handling machinery.
- Complete work in accordance with maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and maximise plant availability.
- Accurately record all maintenance activities in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Follow safe work procedures, company policies, and quality standards in all tasks.
- Collaborate with production teams to prioritise urgent repairs and coordinate planned maintenance activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues and suggesting enhancements to preventative maintenance programs.
