Logistics (Supply & Distribution) Manager (Greenacre)

As a Manufacturer-Wholesaler of surface coating solutions, our products are only available through selected distributors across Australia and Current Zealand.

You will take the responsibility related to logistics and inventory supplies in accordance with the sales, production and demand. You also will manage purchasing and assist with the cash flow/financial budget.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Monitor and oversee purchases.
- Negotiate with suppliers on cost, freight and terms.
- Monitor stock levels and frequency of orders VS sales and ensure a consistent stock turnaround.
- Monitoring warehouse stock location, ensuring sufficient space.
- Amend and update warehouse mapping.
- Liaise and direct the warehouse staff.
- Monitor and record damage to stock, stock take etc.
- Liaise with the sales staff on the following matters:

- sales prediction
- seasonal sales
- monthly specials.
- Evaluating and monitor company financials cash flow and cash predictions status.
- Ensure purchasing cost is in accordance with cash flow affordability

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- At least a bachelor’s degree in business, procurement or other relevant field.
- Knowledge and understanding of financial systems (training can be provided).
- Ability to prepare financial budget and cash flow budget forecast.
- Minimum two years of relevant work experience.
- Able to work independently.
- Sound leadership skills.

Pay: $77,000.00
- $80,000.00 per year
