Electrical Project Manager - Construction (Brisbane City)

The Role We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team and take ownership of end‑to‑end delivery for large HV/MV construction, maintenance and installation of industrial works for various projects across Queensland. The size of the projects you will be managing range in value from $500,000 to $10 million dollar value. You will lead and coordinate project activities, manage construction teams and subcontractors, and ensure all work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Would also suit an Electrical Supervisor ready to take the next step up. This is a hands‑on leadership role where your ability to plan, communicate, and drive performance will directly influence project success. Key Responsibilities:
- Project management of day-to-day construction activities, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
- Resource management including labour, equipment, and materials.
- Safety and compliance to promote a strong safety culture on construction sites, conducting regular safety audits.
- Team leadership to motivate and develop the construction team, fostering a productive work setting.
- Quality control ensuring all construction work meets the company's quality standards and client expectations.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Financial management of construction project budgets.
- Documentation and reporting on project progress including financial and performance metrics. About You
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including project planning and scheduling.
- Leadership Diploma or Project Management qualification will be well regarded. Formal education within the electrical industry.
- Excellent leadership and problem solving skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, financial plans, and operational costs.
- A solid understanding of safety and compliance requirements within the electrical industry.
