About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Registered Nurse to join our dedicated multidisciplinary team. This position involves direct clinical care and support in the administration of Esketamine (Spravato) and TMS treatments, under psychiatrist supervision.
Key Responsibilities Deliver and monitor TMS and Esketamine (Spravato) sessions under psychiatrist supervision Order and liaise with the Spravato pharmacy regarding medication orders, including arranging collection when delivery is unavailable Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and care planning for patients undergoing treatment Monitor and document vital signs, treatment responses, and observations accurately and promptly Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality in all aspects of care Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and clinical discussions Uphold clinical governance standards, infection control, and therapeutic communication best practices
Essential Criteria Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Demonstrated experience in mental health, acute care, or perioperative settings Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and documentation skills Commitment to trauma-informed and patient-centered care Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting
Desirable Previous experience with TMS, Esketamine, or Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies Postgraduate qualification in mental health nursing or equivalent
