About The Role To support our growth focused approach, we are currently seeking an experienced Yard & Logistics Supervisor to join our team in the Devonport Branch. This role has a strong operational focus, leading the yard team, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring deliveries are executed safely, on time and to the highest service standards. You will be a visible, hands‑on supervisor who sets the standard for safety, teamwork and performance. Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise and support Drivers and Yard Staff at our Devonport Branch.
- Take ownership of daily yard operations.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, on time and in full.
- Ensure coordination and optimisation of delivery runs and resource allocation are completed.
- Maintain high standards of safety, compliance and operational excellence.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and safety training of new team members. Skills & Experience
- Experience managing production teams in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Must have a valid forklift license.
- An intermediate level of computer skills.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- MR license is preferred but not essential.
- Previous gas industry experience is advantageous but it is not essential.
